tattered feather
more precious now
for all it has given

new eyes saw

abundance of blessings

life wholly given

grandmother apple tree
reaches out to me
pressing love and sweetness
into my hands

bouquet
of leaves
autumn’s offering

thrice she gives…
this flower after the bloom
and then her rain of seed

peace is found
in answer to
what can I give

abundance is
the daisy’s creed

packaged for next season
a small green purse
contains new beginnings
