How interesting! I am always entranced by the shadows within a flower, but, had not equated them to a sundial. Wonderfully perceptive (and lovely) observation.

Thanks Claudia. I work outside as a gardener and always have my camera with me. I’m often down low in the plants or deep in the shrubs – so I get a lot of unusual perspectives.
Can we say this photo is rapturous or is that just too over the top…?
