…..and today’s offering from Leaf and Twig”: How could I not share this beauty
This is so lovely Catherine–thank you for blessing me this morning. There is something so sheltering and protective and belonging about being under the canopy of an established tree…where we inherently long to dwell,
George, there is nothing like the comfort and sanctuary of old trees. You said it so beautifully. I hope you’ve found or find some time this summer to rest under some old limbed friends.
I love it! 💖💖💖

Lovely shot. The perfect place to drink tea!
Lovely picture. Had to search for the table 🙂
How lovely it would be to sit there for a spell
the best respite
I almost missed the table for the chairs, which I missed for the flowers and the tree. But that shows how well beautifully private and peaceful tea there would be.
Yes, you really have to hunt for the table and chairs. It’s a really magical place – between the old tree and flowers.
Lovely. Thanks for visiting my blog too as it led me to yours.
Oh how delightful! I could just sink down in that grass out of sight and dream (as long as the mosquitoes wouldn’t bite). 😀
The citronella candle on the table will let you stay bite free as long as you like!
