day moved slow
as cow and ducks
listened to the grass grow

While we assume that listening to the grass grow is a metaphor, it’s a fact that it’s possible to hear corn grow — and without much effort. We used to go into the fields when I was a kid just to listen. I’ve never heard grass grow, but maybe I’m not as good at listening as the cow and ducks.
A calm country scene. Lovely.
Good lessons for those of us anxious there will not be “time enough”…
Awwww, I love cows! great photo! Happy week my friend! Hugz Lisa and Bear
Would love to be able to live like this… slow 😊
I could use a wallow too, while I listen.
Really like this one. 🙂
So calm and serene, just what I needed.
