Great image, but your word choices often stir thought and memory. I have not seen “glooming” in decades… maybe since reading Milton!
I still envy you your lilacs. Everything in this photo looks so lush. I like the way you’ve captured the green of the grass in the leaves, too.
Such an intense color! Mine are always light lavender — nothing with the bold strokes of these! Lovely!
