foot of quiet
a tangible peace

Good pic and nicely worded
Looks and sounds so PERFECT to me
Our last snow was so thick on the branches we could barely see the feeder a dozen feet from our house. Of course that also meant it was wet and heavy, as I encountered shoveling the driveway on the other side of the house, all part of that same experience and awakening.
So peaceful. We don’t get snow here now.
I am always restored walking in the snow. This photo and your words bring that silence to me now even though I am no longer in snow country.

So pretty… Thanks for sharing!
I should have been visiting more frequently. I cannot tell you how much I have missed winter! Beautiful!
It took me a few minutes to see the “foot.” I was tricked by my desire to read words visually, imaginatively. Serves me right. I need to pay more attention to what’s there. Lovely photograph. Accurate contrast between words in the 2nd line. I could feel that.
Was this waiting for you? Just like that, you have it.
Nothing better than waking up to a whole new world. I love winter and how it works all night…

Ah, yes. Love that, too, having grown up in Michigan…
