seamed like silk
timeless fashion vixen

This is an especially nice, deep red, and I like the touch of black in the leaves. It adds to the sophistication — perhaps it’s the Coco Chanel of poinsettias.

Do you know, the poinsettia is about the only plant I don’t like, oh, gladioli too…
I used to own a flower shop and they were temperamental and difficult to handle. Now the supermarket churn them out in their thousand, selling them for less money than I could have bought them wholesale 14 years ago… They should be nipped in the bud (runs for cover) …
“stiletto petals” has to have been pure inspiration–ahhh
