I like the mix of vertical trees and horizontal limbs — the crosshatching is very appealing.
I don’t know much about the technical intelligence that is involved in great photography but I do believe you said it well!

I can’t hear any wind yet. Only a deathly silence. But you are right, there is a pointed threat in those ghostly limbs.
