Perhaps because we’re moving toward the Christmas season, your title reminded me of “all is calm, all is bright.” Your photo’s a perfect illusration of calm brightness, too. Lovely.
Interesting, the day finding us, and we and the day being “right” no matter what. It makes today new for me.
The image conveys a somber tone–bare stark trees that seem to be reaching out, crying. Still, the tall thin birch limbs stand there bravely, not giving in to any old weather.
