For some reason I got tears in my eyes on this one….life moves on with seasons, and birth life and death….such a lovely regularity of ebb and flow that I need to accept as the gift of God and not fight the gift and loss coming and going.
Fall, for many reasons, stirs sadness in me.
The garden is my teacher about acceptance and mostly her lessons are learned through joy.

Hah! Just this morning I found the same gift in the apple bowl on my kitchen table. Sunflowers are all of one mind when they leave.
