Beautiful – simply beautiful! Not just your words but the reality behind them. How lovely to have this (as I imagine) at the bottom of your garden path. To walk straight out into fields of lush green in the morning. It looks like the England I love, but you could be anywhere and it wouldn’t make a difference to me, so long as you keep on feeling the love and sending the snaps.
Kindness – Robert (York, England).

Robert, thank you so much for your lovely words this morning. Having grown up in California and then living many years in Boston now that I am settled in New England (New Hampshire,USA) not a morning goes by that I am not grateful to be surround by the nurture of nature and natural beauty. How nice to know on the other side of the Atlantic there is a like minded soul. Kindness back – Catherine
Catherine – you share my sister’s name. Another step closer. So, that really is the view from the bottom of your garden? Wow! You are so fortunate.
Ping pong kindness – Robert. 🙂

A lovely invitation – very uplifting. Thank you
A lovely pairing of image and verse, it speaks to the soul in a beautiful way. Thank you for sharing.
I hope you take this invitation every day
I don’t have a gate, but I have a new day. Perhaps I ought to go out into it!
The new day looks beautiful.
Thank you for sharing this delightful view and you always-poignant words ❤
Would you happen to know the identity of the plants with the zig-zag stem and parallel-veined leaves on the righthand side of the picture? I have seen them here forested areas of Michigan and have had more trouble than usual in searching out this plant's identity.
Hi, that is Polygonatum commonly known as Solomon Sea. It is a medicinal herb. A real beauty. Transplants well.
Thank you very much for the assistance 😀
Have a beautiful new day! I love that we all face that open gate. Walk on through!
Love gates, the great metaphor for change. Walk through and what is waiting? Great post. Your format (photo and short poem) never fails!
Thanks Jane! You are very kind. Good luck with the book sales.
This makes me want to run excitedly out of the gate, then stop abruptly and take a deep breath. Something about this reminds me of that story “The Secret Garden.”
A lovely, vivid green, summery photo!
A beautiful haiku further enhanced by the wonderful image. Very here and now with the imagery.
I am there, thanks for being there first
