Mallards are the best. They seem to tolerate humans in a way other species don’t, and they can make great friends.

Wow. I have the good fortune to see a duck and her whole batch of ducklings every day. But this photo! The way you captured the feathers is amazing. they look more like whorls in wood or a pattern carved in stone–very beautiful
