engulfed in grey
all hope of spring
seemingly stripped away
April’s stern instruction of patience

Goes well with the cold snap.
Once again, superb photo and apt verse

it is, it is
I really like this image.
If shown the photo and asked to identify the month, I’d say January. Geography may not be destiny, but it certainly makes for different seasons. This is a beautiful photo that almost makes me long for the cold again.
That sums up our Spring here in Scotland exactly. I’m so looking forward to day time temperatures above 8°C
Spring is inevitable – regardless of what April does ( or May for that matter!)
That’s true 🙂
Patience indeed. Lovely photo.
The last line says it all!
Fantastic image and the poetry is perfect.
So dainty, like jewels.
Such a beauty to this image, paired with your lovely verse it whispers “endurance.”
What a good description of the image. 🙂 ❤
Spangles! Beautiful, the image and the poetry

Beautiful photo and verse 🙂
Photo made breath stop. Can rain seem a chandelier of weeping and that be a wonder? You did that.
