this is the way
through the dark and the grey
past winter’s long night and into the light

You know, I am OK with that. 🙂
Catherine: This is the way Illinois looks throughout the winter months. Nature is changing the look as I write this message.
How far do you roam with your camera to find your inspiration for your posts? Just curious.
In the rural area of the Connecticut river valley where I live everything is 30 or more miles away. So I roam probably a hundred mile radius during my usual travels. There is such a diversity of landscape here at the intersection of the granite state (NH) and the green mountain state (VT) and lots of pockets of micro-climates. Every day there is a feast for the senses.
You have captured the landscape of my life right now!
It’s almost like an optical illusion.
Love it, great capture!
a much needed and long-awaited passage – beautiful.
Great pairing of poem and photo. Reminds me of that first outing on the first day of spring! Jane
