A cold, winter scene that speaks to the joy of our coming Spring. A neat image, my friend.
As the zig-zag leaves of the cattail!
Exactly like how winter has been. Lovely photograph, too.
Great shot and words! 🙂 Yes, it’s been touch and go towards Spring!
We used to love to collect cattails as kids… and light them to release their fragrant smells.
Great photo and your haiku describes the season quite well!
Happy Weekend my friend
For all the bent and broken limbs, they keep their heads up, I see spirit there, and hope.
Oh, the thoughts these words and image evoke!
Lovely as ever
The color contrast between cat tail and snow is striking, and I love cat tails.
The word mercurial is perfect. Last weekend I was on the bike in 60 degree weather, yesterday it snowed.
We are zigging and zagging our way towards spring.
cool image & haiku! Likin’ it!
