What an amazing rock! Is it granite? Your poem is beautiful as always and filled with wisdom x
Geology is such a fascinating subject! You tagged your posting with “granite” but it seems to me there might be some evidence of metamorphic rocks? Just wondering…..
Awesome,where was this found?
Well spotted and well said
Provokes ancient thoughts.
Great little short!
Interesting rock formation.

Lovely concept, much enjoyed 😀
What I especially like is the amorphous and somewhat ambiguous patch of whiteness. Snow? Fog? Sea foam at land’s edge? The imagination is free to decide.
Love the rock’s colors.
It looks like a highly textured abstract painting! What a pleasing composition.
I like it. Imagine what this rock has seen and been through.
Sleepy eye – yes. Well put. Well shot as well. Ponderous post!
Reminds me of a whale’s eye….
Very beautiful photo.
