as the landscape mutes

Well seen and described
such a beautiful picture and amazing words to capture it.
What is the name of this fruit.
American Beautyberry: Callicarpa americana
lovely–so vibrant and a color I never before associated with autumn
It’s interesting how your beauty berry differs from ours, both in structure and color. Ours are more the color of biplob1958’s avatar, up above, and the berries cluster around the stems in ball-like groups. I’d never seen any until two years ago, in Arkansas. I finally found some here this fall, and was happy to see such a bright, colorful fruit.
oh… beautiful colour … but what is it? Callicarpa americana? mmm i don’t know it.. let me see

My goodness what stunning colors! Love the pairing, visually emphatic.
Nice blue color 🙂
I love how there are so many bright berries out right now, and they really stand out. I posted some today too before I saw your post. I love the purple in yours!
So vibrant and beautiful!
The last glory is gorgeous!
this picture is amazing, and i love how you toyed with words. I also write some poetry, but not nature related. Here’s my link:://freewordpresscom399.wordpress.com
Very beautiful photo.
A great image well-presented, love it!
Every time I find this Callicarpa in the landscape, it is like the first time–oh but you did some color correcting here, didn’t you? 🙂
Nope. This one is Callicarpa shikokiana and really is that intense in color. What a shrub! I’m in love.

Thank you–had not ever seen that one–my experience is too limited. 🙂
Lovely — bright berries beautifully offset by the textured leaves and frost.
Great work, yeah I know it is a joy as well as work.
Beautiful color, my friend.
