If the owners of the lawn have a fishpond he’s right to be unsure.

Great shot…my wife loves Great Blue Herons…loves to watch them fly! They are graceful in flight.

Nicely captured. Such an elegant bird, with such an inelegant squawk!
Great capture…..the photo that is. Herons are always ready to fly away but I have found that they are amazingly slow motion and graceful about their departure. Perhaps a hangover from their fish meditation.
