This poem really caught my attention. My interpretation: The experiences we receive from our past “lingers” into our present, as light (teachings).
I also like how you coupled the words Morning and Moon. Not only is it visually appealing, it refers back to the word “lingering” you used. It ties in the poem and makes it whole.

I love photos that show the moon and the Belt of Venus. I often think of the moon as the buckle on the Belt.
