This is beautiful.
A Feel Good shot! Fantastic.
Oh what a glorious combination of form and colour. It has a Japanese woodblock print aesthetic. Very, very beautiful.
thank you _/\_
Seedbud:Wonderful capture – great birds!
Gorgeous shot of three handsome fellows. 🙂
Nice. Been watching birds eat berries on tree in front yard. Thanks.
There are so many birds where you are and they are so beautiful
Beautiful 🙂 I love their soft Gray colouration 🙂
Birds are beautiful.
And in the photo until it looks like they are putting and decorating a tree with small red lights …
Tania – I LOVE that thought!
All your photos are making me think I need to plant a crabapple tree for the birds. 🙂
Oh I recommend planting one! All kinds of birds flock to it all year long. The blossoms are so pretty in spring and the red crabapples a bright spot in winter.
WOW that is an award winner right there, with that bird looking sideways and the beautiful background…. really good! Have you made these into a book? Or thought about it???? 🙂
thanks! I am thinking and dreaming and planning a book…thanks for asking.
Yup! They’re the champions of cute, all right!
So often, your work just brightens the day. Beautiful!
Oh! Thanks so much Cheryl!

Beautiful birds and photo!
It reminds me the old style of Chinese beds, wardrobes. We can find a lot of images or printings on the woodblock from them.

In memory of the chief of our merry band of Mad Birders. (Thank you, Leaf and Twig!)
I hope you don’t mind me reblogging these wonderful cedar waxwing photos. A dear friend of mine who just passed away, a birder who sometimes was able to capture scenes like these (magic to the rest of us) would have gotten such a kick out of them if he’d been able to see them.
What a gorgeous photo and the words, too. So moving.
bohemian cedar waxwings — nice juxtaposition
Wow! What wonderful waxwings!
Like – a lot!!
My words seem so empty, so shallow in comment on your photo and poetry–I swoon in the beauty you share on these pages. Thank you.
Your thoughtful and encouraging words fuel and enhance the beauty. Thank you.
