Absolutely amazing vision and description
At first glance your photo looks like clouds rolling in over a city. And then you see just how totally opposite the scale and subject is.
Loved reading your impression. Now I see that too! Thanks!!
Loved this take on the photo!!
Very exciting! The contrast in textures delightful!
Excellent poem and photo; they go together like a true marriage! 🙂
This is what so precious about life it’s ephemeral …and due to its ephemeral nature it, make every second, every moment, every snowflake, every fingerprint… different, and therefore precious and to be treasured.
Lovely with an attract quality that shows a patina of contrast and tones and textures.
I love the delicacy of dead flowers. Beautiful

Incredible macro image supported by wonderful haiku
Good eye and great find! Beautiful!
I had the same impression as dodgysurfer, had to keep looking, then felt compelled to comment since I so enjoyed the illusion.
Such a good eye for the tiny details …
A wonderful collage of textures and your description as usual is so evocative.
