it is my thoughts that wander
into the snowy woods
finding their path towards peace

especially lovely today
Hi Cathy, I have been enjoying these posts for about a month and I love this one! Thanks and Merry Christmas! Donna
Merry Christmas to you Donna! Hope to see you early in the new Year.
It looks like a painting.
Inhale, exhale, ahhhhhh!
It’s a beautiful thing to walk through the virgin snow, hearing the frozen leaves crunching underfoot. All problems and cares desert you from the moment you enter the woods. It’s impossible, I think, to be in turmoil in the woods.
Beautifully written and so evocative! Thank you for sharing it!
Your photos are always blessings. May you have a special Christmas! Hugs!
Interesting photo … At first I saw the negative space between trees as white trees! Merry Christmas!
