This is true, winter has its own beauty if one can get past the cold.
I remember I had a friend who talked me into going cross-country skiing and it was fantastic — because I had not know how much beauty there was in the snow — there were rainbow diamond sparkles in the snow — and I wasn’t cold.
We saw deer and the trees were all like Christmas trees — they were all covered in snow and I had so much fun — it was as if it was at Summer, it was a song of Paradise, yes winter is beautiful if we can get past the cold.
I’m loving these shots of the red berries. A tiny touch of red is always sweet.
Winter in my Southern California dreams! Beautiful shot.
Reblogged this on Voices and Visions.
Very nice and beautiful!
Lovely seasonal image.
Like cranberries with frosting.
Beauty that I don’t see here!
Don’t you just love that pretty red against the bright white? I sure do!
this is beautiful both the poem and the photo the red just pops.
