  1. This brings me back to my days living on Snow Hill Road.
There was an old shelter of sorts about a mile from my house. If my family wanted to go toward town, our usual route took us right past it. Looking to my right, I could see the peacefully decaying wood and rusted Chevy truck in plain sight. Even as a child, I always looked for it and was happy to see nature reclaiming (repossessing) the elements man has borrowed from her.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  2. Old barns are my favorites. Rainy days flatten the light but the moisture highlights all the cracks and crevices in the aged wood. I drive past a shed and an abandoned farm house on the way to my brother’s. I need to get permission to trespass, because these buildings are calling my name.

    I love this image!
