As transient as the dawn
snow blossoms hold onto the branch
with the power of a wish.

A sublime winter shot… beautiful muted tones.
great observation as ever
sooo pretty !
I liked clicking on the picture and seeing it really up close. The snow clusters really looked alive.
Beautiful, as though cherry twigs are blooming.
So serene and lovely …

Excellent image and words! Inspiring AND inspired, as usual!
Gorgeous and desolate. I feel the coldness so much in this fragile scene.

i really like your writing, so simple and poetic.
wow, how do you do it, everyday you come up with something so beautiful yet so simple….yet I find beauty should be simple… once again, like, like, like….
Beautiful! They almost look like pussywillows!
Perfect example of how showing detail can create an entire scene in the mind. I shared this on Pinterest, which I’m just learning how to use. I didn’t see a Pinterest button on your site, so if you’d rather I didn’t pin it, let me know and I’ll remove the pin. It’s the first in a new category I created, titled “Beautiful!”
Julia, I’m delighted you shared it! Thank you for letting me know. I’ll have to go see if I can add pinterest as a share button.
You definitely should add Pinterest to make it easy to share yet another perfect marriage of image and words! ~ Kat
Loved it!! So delicate yet cold
How the voice of nature often speaks to us, at times that worms the heart. Thanks for sharing.
Such a beautifully delicate photo and poem, too. They are perfect together!
