Oh I love the light tone and word play! And what a great photo!
Sublime and beautiful image and words. Perfect for today.
I want to attend the winter wingding!! Playful!
A stunning image.
(You would think they would freeze their little flappy feet off!)
LOVE this picture!
I like the quiet subtleties of the photo – very peaceful,
I like the bit of color in the grasses, Seedbud. Intruguing.
such dimension and personality…this works every way a photograph should work bravo
Aw how cute! I like the atmosphere of the photo. Very nice. And I love ducks.
Beautiful muted colors.
Wonderful picture. Compostition and content.
what a special area to visit…you’ve captured the wingding perfectly…of course I clicked on the photo, then used the magnifying glass that shows up and could see two ducks in the trees…they are barely visible in the photo this size…
Heather, I love that you examine the photos so carefully. I wish they could appear larger without the extra steps. I so look forward to your encouraging and thoughtful comments.
lol…that is something I like to do…when the photos are small I feel as though I’m missing something that isn’t easily seen…generally I’m right..often finding something worth taking the time…I feel enlarging the photo makes a good photo look amazing…it is all in the details…I truly enjoy what you do!
It does remind of a celebration with lots of white lace.
So lovely – both for the eye and the heart!
Winter wingdings: not to be missed. We need all the help we can get!
l like it a lot. There is something holy about it. Undisturbed nature is sacred and you have capture this perfectly. I will also examine the details in their precious finesse. Thank you.
(ps: if i did a dupli comment pls. erase the other.)
Nice repetition of shapes with the snow on plants and the fowl. Abit of comedy too i.e. wingding
Wow that’s beautiful. You’ve taken me there. As though I’m standing behind the lens.
May they have a lot of fun!
lovely image, perfect words. My favorite: your title selection!
This is very beautiful!
Blessings ~ Wendy

I love the colors–the silvery trees and golden stalks–lookes like a gilft wrapped up under a Christmas tree!
Birds add joy to sparse winter.
